Install through the Shopify App Store

Steps:

  1. Log in to the Shopify App Store.
  2. Find the VitalSource app to install, and then click it.
  3. On the app listing page, click Add app.
  4. In your Shopify admin, to authorize the use of the app, click Install app.
  5. After that a billing page will open, you have to purchase the plan first to open the app, click on approve to purchase the plan.

After the app is installed, you can view and use it from the Apps page in your Shopify admin.

Section-2 User Guide.

First of all, you have to click on the product in the products option, then a form will open in front of you and you will have to enter the vbid of that product in the form to be filled and submitted.


When customers placed the order they will receive mail regarding their order. To perform this thing, the admin need to set up these things. For this, you have to Perform the following steps.

  1. Go to the "Settings" tab.
  2. Then fill the all the given fields like VITAL SOURCE API KEY, EMAIL, SMTP SERVER ADDRESS, SMTP PASSWORD, SMTP PORT, SEND EMAIL SUBJECT, and SEND EMAIL TEXT.
  3. Finally, click on the "Save" button.


Now to activate your app on store front, you need to perform the following steps. This procedure is only for the first time when you installing app.

Click on the “Customize“ option.


Now click on the “App embeds” icon, After that enable the “VitalSource” app, and save it.


After that, the Ebooks button will show to the customer on the account page, but this button will be shown to the customer only when the customer has placed at least one order.


Clicking on eBooks will show a popup in which the names of all the books ordered by the customer will show and the customer can open that book by clicking on the open book button.


After this, the admin will see the VitalSource product order details on the admin dashboard.

After this, by clicking on the Orders option, the order information will be shown.
